The last chapter of the gospel of Luke is an important passage. It records for us the resurrection of our Lord Jesus and it is here that Jesus himself confirms the ultimate purpose of the Old Testament. I pray that we, just like the disciples traveling the road to Emmaus, will encounter Jesus and allow the Holy Spirit to teach us today!
