How do we come to Him?
• “With a

Heart”
o The word sincere means pertaining to being real, genuine, authentic

• “With full

of faith.”
o Being completely certain or confident in your faith to come to Him.

• “having our hearts

clean from an evil conscience and our bodies

Reveal Answer

with pure water.”
o We are cleansed by the blood of Christ and His sacrifice on the cross.
o We are washed by baptism.
• This is obedience to what God has called us to do.
• This is a representation of burying your old self and raising to walk in newness of life.
• It is a representation of being cleansed from your sins.

Challenge:
1. Are you drawing closer to God?
2. Ask God to help you draw near to Him. Draw near to Him not only in
hard times but also in good times. God is not a God of convenience.
3. Come to God knowing that you have been forgiven and that He loves
you.
4. Ask God to help you to be more consistent in spending time with Him
both personally and coming to church and bible studies.
