
Matthew 12:11-14 NLT
11 And he answered, “If you had a sheep that fell into a well on the Sabbath, wouldn’t you work to pull it out? Of course you would.
12 And how much more valuable is a person than a sheep! Yes, the law permits a person to do good on the Sabbath.”
13 Then he said to the man, “Hold out your hand.” So the man held out his hand, and it was restored, just like the other one!
14 Then the Pharisees called a meeting to plot how to kill Jesus.
John 10:1 NLT
“I tell you the truth, anyone who sneaks over the wall of a sheepfold, rather than going through the gate, must surely be a thief and a robber!
Sheep are designed to be led by shepherds.
Cattle are designed to be driven by cowboys.
John 10:9 NASB
I am the door; if anyone enters through Me, he will be saved, and will go in and out and find pasture.

through whom also we have access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.

And David shepherded them with integrity of heart; with skillful hands he led them.

…Woe to you shepherds of Israel who only take care of yourselves! Should not shepherds take care of the flock?
From John 10 and Ezekiel 34 we conclude that the shepherds have the responsibility to FEED and CARE for the sheep.
The sheep have a responsibility to HEAR and ACT on what has been said.

I keep my eyes on the Good Shepherd, the One who leads me in green pastures and protects me from predators.
I rest in His presence, always listening for His voice and always ready to act on what He says.
