THE ARMOR BLACKSMITH SHOP

THE FULL ARMOR OF GOD

10  Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might.
11  Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.
12  For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.
13  Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.
14  Stand therefore, having girded your waist with truth, having put on the breastplate of righteousness,
15  and having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace;
16  above all, taking the shield of faith with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one.
17  And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God; —Ephesians 6:10 - 17

THE HELMET OF SALVATION, SANCTIFICATION, AND MY LOT

5  O Lord, You are the portion of my inheritance and my cup; You maintain
my lot.
6  The lines have fallen to me in pleasant places; yes, I have a good inheritance.
7  I will bless the Lord who has given me counsel; my heart also instructs me in the night seasons.
8  I have set the Lord always before me; because He is at my right hand I shall not be moved.
9  Therefore my heart is glad, and my glory rejoices; my flesh also will rest in hope. —Psalm 16:5 - 9

1. The helmet of salvation protects the boundaries of my life in the process of sanctification by protecting the boundaries of my thought life.

The lines have fallen to me in pleasant places… —Psalm 16:6a

The boundary lines have fallen for me in pleasant places… —Psalm 16:6a (NIV)

The brain is to the body what the mind is to the soul.

1 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service.
2 And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God. —Romans 12:1 - 2

5  Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding;
6  In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths. —Proverbs 3:5 - 6

For as he thinks in his heart, so is he. —Proverbs 23:7a

Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy—meditate on these things. —Philippians 4:8

11  Not that I speak in regard to need, for I have learned in whatever state I am, to be content:
12  I know how to be abased, and I know how to abound. Everywhere and in all things I have learned both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need.
13  I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. —Philippians 4:11 - 13

2 You know my sitting down and my rising up; You understand my thought afar off.
3 You comprehend my path and my lying down, and are acquainted with all my ways.
4 For there is not a word on my tongue, but behold, O Lord, You know it altogether.
5 You have hedged me behind and before, and laid Your hand upon me. —Psalm 139:2 - 5

You’ve gone into my future to prepare the way, and in kindness you follow behind me to spare me from the harm of my past. —Psalm 139:5 (TPT)

1 Blessed is the man who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor stands in the path of sinners, nor sits in the seat of the scornful;
2  But his delight is in the law of the Lord, and in His law he meditates day and night.
3  He shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that brings forth its fruit in its season, whose leaf also shall not wither; and whatever he does shall prosper. —PSalm 1:1 - 3

7  You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, when you walk by the way, when you lie down, and when you
rise up.
8  You shall bind them as a sign on your hand, and they shall be as frontlets between your eyes.
9  You shall write them on the doorposts of your house and on your gates. —Deuteronomy 6:6 - 9

18  “Therefore you shall lay up these words of mine in your heart and in your soul, and bind them as a sign on your hand, and they shall be as frontlets between your eyes.
