Being thankful is not just Good Christian behavior. It’s a powerful spiritual weapon that protects and directs and connects and positions us so that God can more readily provide for us.

1) Connection - Is one of the keys to experiencing more of God’s presence and stronger relationships with those He has placed in our life.

3) Protection - Protects our hearts from destructive forces.

Greek word for guard is Phroureo:
1. to guard, protect by a military guard, either to prevent hostile invasion, or to keep the inhabitants of a besieged city from flight.
Depression and Discouragement and Despair:
When we determine to live mindful and be grateful for who we are and what we have in Christ, we discover a joy that can’t easily be stolen.
