As Jesus was walking beside the Sea of Galilee, he saw two brothers, Simon called Peter and his brother Andrew. They were casting a net into the lake, for they were fishermen. “Come, follow Me,” Jesus said, “and I will send you out to fish for people.” At once they left their nets and followed Him. If you are faithful in little things, you will be faithful in large ones. But if you are dishonest in little things, you won’t be honest with greater responsibilities. Luke 16:10

Night of Worship at is your chance to reconnect with God and focus on him through worship, prayer, and Communion. Night of Worship happens in Buda, Wednesday, September 4th at 7pm. We hope to see you during this special time as our church family comes together to worship together.

Opening Up
1. Relating to Insecurity: Have you ever felt insecure about your ability to make a difference or fulfill God’s purpose in life? How did you handle those feelings?
2. Personal Experience: Share a time when you doubted God could use you for something important. What happened?

Digging In
1. The Power of Saying Yes: Pastor Cole emphasized the importance of saying “Yes” to God, just like Peter did. How easy or hard is it for you to say “Yes” to God’s calling? What holds you back?
2. Ordinary People, Extraordinary Purpose: Pastor Cole said that God loves to use ordinary people for extraordinary purposes. In what ways do you see yourself as an “ordinary” person, and how might God be calling you to something greater?
3. Overcoming Feelings of Inadequacy: Peter denied Jesus three times but was later used by God in a powerful way. How does Peter’s story encourage you when you feel unqualified or unworthy to be used by God?
4. Identifying Your Masterpiece: Ephesians 2:10 describes us as God’s “workmanship” or masterpiece. How does this verse challenge or change the way you see yourself and your purpose in life?

Living It Out
1. Taking the First Step: What is one area where you feel God is calling you to step out in faith? What would it look like for you to say “Yes” to that call this week?
2. Leveraging Your Ordinary: Pastor Cole said that God can use the skills and experiences from ordinary jobs for His purpose. What skills or experiences from your everyday life can you offer to God’s work?
3. Encouraging Others: How can you encourage someone in your life who may feel insecure about their ability to be used by God? What practical steps can you take to support them?

Wrapping it Up
1. Personal Commitment: Think about a past moment when you felt God’s call and your response to it. What will you commit to doing differently the next time you sense God calling you?
2. Praying for Confidence: Spend some time praying for God to remove any doubts or insecurities that hold you back from being fully used by Him. How can our group support each other in this area?
