that’s just an infinitesimal sample of bad news headlines that appear every day… and to be the bearer of bad news is rarely a good idea…
Exo 33:3-4… “I will not go with you… when people heard the bad news, they mourned…”
2Sam 4:10… “when the person told me, Saul is dead, he thought he was the bearer of good news, but I seized him and put him to death, that was my reward to him for his news…”
Eccl 6:1… “I have seen evil under the sun… and it weighs heavily on mankind…”
always give you bad news first… is there any good news in this evil world…
Psa 68… “God arises… His enemies scatter… wicked are destroyed… righteous are glad… they celebrate with joy… God provided by His goodness… a great company of women brought the good news… day after day He bears our burdens… He has acted on our behalf…”

God’s promises are your best protection in a world of evil and wickedness…

why is God’s word your best protection… ultimately, this is a spiritual battle…

the world is a dark place… and it’s going to get even darker…

yet, in those days… God’s light will shine even brighter… you don’t have to fear for the safety of your family… but ultimate protection must be His word…
Psa 91… “He is my place of safety… He will protect you from deadly disease… His promises are your armor… no evil or plague will come near your home… His angels will protect you…”
