The Only Way To Understand God
When I know the truth the truth will set me free.
For who knows a person’s thoughts except their own spirit within them? In the same way no one knows the thoughts of God except the Spirit of God. What we have received is not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, so that we may understand what God has freely given us. This is what we speak, not in words taught us by human wisdom but in words taught by the Spirit, explaining spiritual realities with Spirit-taught words. The person without the Spirit does not accept the things that come from the Spirit of God but considers them foolishness, and cannot understand them because they are discerned only through the Spirit. The person with the Spirit makes judgments about all things, but such a person is not subject to merely human judgments, for, “Who has known the mind of the Lord so as to instruct him?” But we have the mind of Christ. —1 Corinthians 2:11-18
God created you to experience life in 3 ways: Physically, Emotionally, Spiritually
The only way to know the mind of God is by being connected spiritually.
God communicates with us spiritually.
What we have received is not the spirit of this world, but the Spirit who is from God, so that we may understand what God has freely given us.
The only way to know God’s blessing is to know God’s spirit.
This is what we speak, not in words taught us by human wisdom but in words taught by the Spirit, explaining spiritual realities with Spirit-taught words.
The only way to know God’s thoughts is to know God’s spirit.
The person without the Spirit does not accept the things that come from the Spirit of God but considers them foolishness and cannot understand them because they are discerned only through the Spirit.
Your spirit is your spiritual thermostat.
The person with the Spirit makes judgments about all things, but such a person is not subject to merely human judgments,
Who has measured the waters in the hollow of his hand, or with the breadth of his hand marked off the heavens? Who has held the dust of the earth in a basket, or weighed the mountains on the scales and the hills in a balance? Whom did the LORD consult to enlighten him, and who taught him the right way? Who was it that taught him knowledge, or showed him the path of understanding? Who can fathom the Spirit of the LORD, or instruct the LORD as his counselor? —Isaiah 40:12-14
With your spirit you know the truth.
When I know the truth the truth will set me free.
