“Come now, let us settle the matter,”
says the LORD.
Though your sins are like scarlet,
they shall be as white as snow;
though they are red as crimson,
they shall be like wool.” —Isaiah 1:18 (NIV)

”She will give birth to a son, and you are to give him the name Jesus, because he will save his people from their sins.—Matthew 1:21 (NIV)

How Can We Have a “White Christmas”?

1. We acknowledge our guilt.

10 As it is written: “There is no one righteous, not even one; 11 there is no one who understands; there is no one who seeks God. 12 All have turned away, they have together become worthless; there is no one who does good, not even one.” —Romans 3:10-12 (NIV)

2. We either die WITH our stain or believe someone died FOR our stain.

But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us. —Romans 5:8 (NIV)

3. We surrender and receive His forgiveness by faith.

8 For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— 9 not by works, so that no one can boast. —Ephesians 2:8-9 (NIV)
