A gathering of people who’ve answered the call to come to Jesus, spend time with Jesus, be filled with Jesus, and follow Jesus, so that they might be Jesus to people, and call people to Jesus.
Mark 3:13-15 (NIV)
Jesus went up on a mountainside and called to him those he wanted, and they came to him. He appointed twelve that they might be with him (worship) and that he might send them out (mission) to preach and to have authority to drive out demons.

- Worship (being with Jesus)
C.S. Lewis
The moment you wake up each morning, all your wishes and hopes for the day rush at you like wild animals. And the first job each morning consists in shoving it all back; in listening to that other voice, taking that other point of view, letting that other larger, stronger, quieter life come flowing in.
Psalm 119:18 (NIV)

- Is there anything that touches me?
- Is there anything that confuses me?
- Is there anything that challenges me?
- What is it about Jesus that strikes you here?
- Is there anything in here that could speak into my life/situations today?
2 Timothy 2:7 (NIV)
Reflect on what I am saying, for the Lord will give you insight into all this.
- Mission (being sent by Jesus)
Matthew 28:19 (NIV)
“Therefore go and make disciples of all nations … .”
Reads Like …
“As you’re going along make disciples of all nations.”
Matthew 28:20 (NIV)
“Surely I am with you always.”
- Community (with others in Jesus)
Theologian Scot McKnight
Love is a rugged commitment to be with someone, to be for someone, unto Christlikness, for as long as it takes.
