Page through the book of Hebrews together. Look at chapter headings. Note if you have anything underlined in your Bible. Does anything jump out to you? Any questions that come into your mind at the outset?
Do you think Christians today are in more danger of turning away from Christianity, or turning Christianity into something it’s not? In other words, where do you think we need the most encouragement to endure?
Read Hebrews 1:1-3. What comes to your mind as you read these verses?
Where do you struggle in reading and understanding God’s Word? Do you ever find yourself looking to other things to “hear from God”? Is that always wrong?

Which do you more naturally drift toward in your mind – the divinity of Christ, or the humanity of Christ? Is the concept of “purification” more significant than “forgiveness”? Why?
Where do you see Jesus reigning in your life right now? Where do you not see Him reigning in your life right now?
How can we be in danger of being in wonder and awe of Christ, but not take Him personally? What can we do to help us do both?
