Matthew 4:21
A little farther up the shore he saw two other brothers, James and John, sitting in a boat with their father, Zebedee, repairing their nets. And he called them to come, too.
Equipping is first
something and then
something - for something
.
Luke 5:5-6
“Master,” Simon replied, “we worked hard all last night and didn’t catch a thing, nevertheless if you say so, I’ll let the nets down again.” 6 And this time their nets were so full of fish they began to tear!”
The bridge between our discouragement and God’s will is nevertheless and on the other side are the overflowing nets of His blessings.
There is a reality that lies on the other side of the nevertheless of obedience.
First comes nevertheless and then comes the miracle.

2 Timothy 3:16-17
All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, 17 that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.
2 Corinthians 9:10–11 NLT
10 For God is the one who provides seed for the farmer and then bread to eat. In the same way, he will provide and + (extra) resources and then produce + (extra) generosity in you.
11 Yes, you will be + (extra) in + (extra) ways so that you can always be + (extra). And when we take your gifts to those who need them, they will thank God.
