Text: 1 Peter 4:12-19

I should

in my suffering - my reward is in Heaven. (v.13)

And now, brothers, we want you to know about the grace that God has given the Macedonian churches. Out of the most severe trial, their overflowing joy and their extreme poverty welled up in rich generosity. —2 Corinthians 8:1-5

For it has been granted to you on behalf of Christ not only to believe on him, but also to suffer for him —Philippians 1:29

I should consider myself

that I’m counted worthy to suffer for the Lord. (v.14)

Be sure that I suffer for doing

and not wrong doing. (v.15)

Don’t be

of Christ but glorify God. (v.16)

myself unto the Lord - that He will take care of me. (v.19)

That is why I am suffering as I am. Yet I am not ashamed, because I know whom I have believed, and am convinced that he is able to guard what I have entrusted to him for that day. —2 Timothy 1:12
