Psalm 119:105,106
Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path. I have sworn, and I will perform it, that I will keep thy righteous judgments. The Psalmist has recognized that the word of God is the guide for our lives. —Psalm 119:105-106

During the days of Noah we see people doing what was right in their own eyes and their was chaos.
I heard a pastor talking about his mom. She had told him that any dead fish can flow downstream. It takes a live fish to go against the current. You see behind the flow of the world is Satan.
It becomes hard to stand against the flow. You don’t want to create any waves. Some feel pressured to agree with abortion, gender issues, gay marriage, standing against Israel.
If we speak out against those things that the Bible says is wrong, and says is sin, we are called intolerant and haters.
Daniel, as a young man most likely was influenced by the Prophet Jeremiah. Jeremiah was born into a family of priests and preached to the Southern Kingdom of Judah for approximately 40 years, seeking to “stem … the tide of idolatry and immorality”
When Daniel was taken as a captive (probably as an upper teenager )and taken to the Babylonian court
He purposed in his heart not to defile himself. He determined to keep himself pure. The courts were full of debauchery BUT he kept himself pure.
I made a covenant with my eyes, He would not look at another maiden. I have sworn and will perform it. Make a commitment to righteousness. —Job 31:1
Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path. I have sworn, and I will perform it, that I will keep thy righteous judgments. The Psalmist has recognized that the word of God is the guide for our lives. —Psalm 119:105-106
I WILL LET THE WORD OF GOD SHOW ME WHAT IS RIGHT OR WRONG!!
I will walk in the path of your word.
I have inclined my heart to perform thy statues always even to the end. —Psalm 119:112
