Ask, Seek, Knock
1. Trust God’s WORD
“Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened.” Matthew 7:7,8 (See Matthew 6:33)
“Listen to my words, Lord, consider my lament. Hear my cry for help, my King and my God, for to you I pray. In the morning, Lord, you hear my voice; in the morning I lay my requests before you and wait expectantly.” Psalm 5:1-3
Those who know your name trust in you, for you, Lord, have never forsaken those who seek you. Psalm 9:10
2. Trust God’s HEART
“Which of you, if your son asks for bread, will give him a stone? Or if he asks for a fish, will give him a snake? If you, then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give good gifts to those who ask him!” Matthew 7:9-11 (See Matthew 6:25-33)
He who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all—how will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things? Romans 8:32
3. Trust God’s WAYS
“So in everything, do to others what you would have them do to you, for this sums up the Law and the Prophets.” Matthew 7:12
Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up. Galatians 6:9
And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:19
