  1. Read Romans 11: 1-2. Now the Church exists is God done with Israel?

  2. As early as the year 160 many church leaders begin teaching what is now reffered to as “Replacement Theology.” What is “Repalcement Theology”?

  3. Throughout Church History how has the teaching of “Repalcement Theology” hinder the Jewish People from seeing Jesus as their own?

  4. Read Ephesians 2: 15. THE ONE NEW MAN, is made up of Jews, Gentiles, and Messiah, who are called to relate to one another in a spirit of interdependence and mutual blessing. By the 7th century Jewish people who came to faith in the Messiah were required to denounce their Jewish ancestry and heritage before they could be baptized. How does this go against God’s plan for THE ONE NEW MAN?

  5. Read Acts 15: 24-28. How was THE ONE NEW MAN under attack in this instance? How does this differ from the attacks that began through the idea of “Replacement Theology”?

Read Genesis 12: 1-4

  1. Is this the passage where Abraham first appears in the Bible? If not when does Abraham first appear in the Bible?

  2. Read Acts 7: 1-4. Where was Abraham living when God first spoke to him?

  3. Read Joshua 24: 2. Did Abraham come from a family that worshipped the “One True God”?

  4. Abrahm was living in Mesopotamia, specifically in Ur of the Chaladeans when God first spoke to him to go to Cannan. Why then did he go to Haran? What interest would his family have in going to Haran?

  5. What are the four things that God promised Abraham in Genesis 12: 1-3?

  6. Read Genesis 17: 7. Are the promises that God made to Abraham in Genesis 12, “The Abrahamic Covenant” still in effect today?

  7. God added the letter H when he changed Abram and Sarai’s name to Abraham and Sarah. What is the significance of the letter H in the Hebrew alphabet?
