THE BEST IS YET TO COME!

PART 7 – 7 is the Biblical number of completion or perfection.

Then the angel showed me the river of the water of life, as clear as crystal,flowing from the throne of God and of the Lamb down the middle of the great street of the city.On each side of the river stood the tree of life, bearing twelve crops of fruit,yielding its fruit every month. And the leaves of the tree are for the healing of the nations.No longer will there be any curse. The throne of God and of the Lamb will be in the city,and his servants will serve him. They will see his face, and his name will be on their foreheads.There will be no more night. They will not need the light of a lamp or the light of the sun,for the Lord God will give them light. And they will reign for ever and ever.—Revelation 22:1-5

1. In Heaven, there will be complete fulfillment in God’s Presence

No longer will there be any curse… They will see his face, and his name will be on their foreheads.—Revelation 22:3-5

At the resurrection, people will neither marry nor be given in marriage; they will be like the angels in heaven.—Matthew 22:30

2. Marriage and sexual desire is temporary, don’t worship it.

3. Marriage on earth is just a shadow of Christ’s love for His Church

Earthly marriage reflects Christ’s love for the Church.

Married couples: Live selflessly, reflecting Christ’s sacrificial love.

Singles: Your identity is rooted in Christ’s love, and you point to the ultimate union with Him.

4. The Best Is Yet To Come!

Let us rejoice and be glad and give him glory! For the wedding of the Lamb has come, and his bride has made herself ready. Fine linen, bright and clean, was given her to wear. (Fine linen stands for the righteous acts of God’s holy people.) Then the angel said to me, ‘Write this: Blessed are those who are invited to the wedding supper of the Lamb!’ And he added, ‘These are the true words of God.’
