Overview of Acts 21-24 - Various Scripture - February 25th, 2024

Notes:

“We sought out the disciples there and stayed with them seven days. Through the Spirit they urged Paul not to go on to Jerusalem.” —Acts 21:4

“And now, compelled by the Spirit, I am going to Jerusalem, not knowing what will happen to me there. I only know that in every city the Holy Spirit warns me that prison and hardship are facing me.” —Acts 20:22-23

“After we had been there a number of days, a prophet named Agabus came down from Judea. Coming over to us, he took Paul’s belt, tied his own hands and feet with it and said, “The Holy Spirit says, ‘In this way the Jewish leaders in Jerusalem will bind the owner of this belt and will hand him over to the Gentiles.’” When we heard this, we and the people there pleaded with Paul not to go up to Jerusalem.” —Acts 21:10-12

“However, I consider my life worth nothing to me; my only aim is to finish the race and complete the task the Lord Jesus has given me – the task of testifying to the good news of God’s grace.” —Acts 20:24

We discern God’s voice by

His and His for our lives.

Notes:

When we are fully

to God, even our worst days become to share the love of Jesus with others.

Notes:

No matter how broken and

you are, Jesus offers forgiveness to you!

Notes:

“and some of the teachers of the law who were Pharisees stood up and argued vigorously. The dispute became so violent that the commander was afraid Paul would be torn to pieces by them. He ordered the troops to go down and take him away from them by force and bring him into the barracks. The following night the Lord stood near Paul and said, “Take courage! As you have testified about me in Jerusalem, so you must also testify in Rome.” —Acts 23:9-11

God is

there when we Him.

We have

to fear when we are following for our life.

Sometimes the

of life lead us to the of God.

Notes:

“Meanwhile, Saul was still breathing out murderous threats against the Lord’s disciples.
But the Lord said to Ananias, “Go! This man is my chosen instrument to proclaim my name to the Gentiles and their kings and to the people of Israel. I will show him how much he must suffer for my name.” —Acts 9:1

Life Application:

This week think about how the hardships of life have made you who you are today. How could you use those hardships to connect with people and lead them toward Jesus?

As a result of today’s message, I will
