Galatians 5:22-23
But the Holy Spirit produces this kind of fruit in our lives: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. There is no law against these things!

Makrothumia - patience, forbearance, longsuffering, endurance, constancy, steadfastness, perseverance.

The Bible gives us

to be patient.

Psalm 27:14
Wait patiently for the LORD. Be brave and courageous. Yes, wait patiently for the LORD.

Psalm 37:7 Be still in the presence of the LORD and wait patiently for Him to act. Don’t worry about evil people who prosper or fret about their wicked schemes.

Psalm 62:5 Let all that I am wait quietly before God, for my hope is in Him.

Isaiah 40:31 But those who wait on the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint.

Lamentations 3:25 The LORD is good to those who wait for Him, To the soul who seeks Him.

Acts 1:4 Once when He was eating with them, Jesus commanded them, “Do not leave Jerusalem until the Father sends you the gift He promised, as I told you before.”

Hebrews 12:1 Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with patience the race marked out for us.

The Bible gives us

of patience.

We exercise patience as we build relationships with Our One.
