II. PAUL’S REFUGE AT MALTA: (Acts 28:1-10)
A. The presence of God is shown through Paul to the natives: vv. 1-6
1. The pagans show hospitality v. 2
2. Paul is bit by a venomous snake vv. 3-5
3. Paul changes the minds of the natives v. 6
B. God uses Paul to perform miracles: vv. 7-9

III. PRINCIPLES TO PERSONALLY APPLY:

A. Life’s hardest moments can be our greatest testimony of God’s power to a lost audience if we allow it to be.
B. Our peace and refuge rests upon our trust in the Lord for our destination regardless of the journey.
C. A life without Christ is void of hope and peace because it fails to provide a long term destination, and therefore a purpose of my present journey.
