Icebreaker - Would you consider yourself more of a “people person” or a “task-oriented person”?

Read 1 Peter 3:8-18 ESV

1. Based on the passage and sermon, is missional living a new concept for you? Briefly explain.
   

2. Why do you think missional living is necessary (or not necessary) for your faith to grow and thrive?
   

3. In your own words, how would you explain the gospel in 60-90 seconds to someone of any age who asks?
   

4. To what extent do you view yourself as a missionary among the people you interact with on a regular basis?
   

5. When you read, “honor Christ the Lord as holy, always being prepared to make a defense to anyone who asks you for a reason for the hope that is in you; yet do it with gentleness and respect,” what goes through your mind? How does this instruction make you feel? Why?
   

6. Has your life, the way you act and speak, provoked anyone to ask you about the hope you have in Jesus? Why do you think this is the case for you?
   

7. What are some ways you would like to be more equipped or prepared to share your faith with others?
