Everyday Jesus: Everyday Jesus is a great way to deepen your Bible reading, prayer life & personal time with Christ.
• Monday: Read Jeremiah 29 God lays out a plan, but it is broad. He skips to what will happen without detailing each day of the next 70 years. While He could speak to us with fine detail, He often speaks from His longer, broader perspective. Ask the Lord to give you contentment and peace in the plan He knows completely and which you only know/understand partially.
• Tuesday: Read Jeremiah 29:10-14, Ezra 1:1-4, Dan 9:1-23 Daniel & Ezra’s accounts are on the opposite end of the 70 year exile and what Jeremiah spoke. God’s word is so meticulously tied to together beyond what a person could write. How amazing! God speaks a word and brings it to pass through a pagan king and an obedient servant! Worship the Lord for His plan of salvation and His absolute authority to bring it about. He knows the plan and He will bring it to pass.
• Wednesday: {Day of Fasting} Read Jeremiah 29:10-14, Matthew 11:28-29 God calls on us to come to Him. So you may continually come to Him in complete surrender, ask the Lord to overcome every point of resistance to His call, you may have.
• Thursday: Read Jeremiah 29:10-14 We often pray to the Lord with our own conditions. The prayer of salvation is a prayer of surrender. Pray your own prayer of surrender to the Lord’s direction and way.
• Friday: Read Jeremiah 29:10-14 Lord teach me to seek you with my whole heart.
• Saturday: Read Jeremiah 29:10-32. God speaks a plan of salvation in time of exile to Israel. Yet a choice remains. Will Israel hear the plan of God or continue to listen to the false voice of prophets? State your determination to place your hope in God’s plan to save you in “this”, instead of listening to the false voice of people that don’t truly align with His plan.
