Sermon Series: Grow Where You Are Planted
Message in a Sentence: As believers, we have been planted into the family of God. We are born again with a new nature and new destination after death.

• Verse 12

• As the body of Christ we are not only responsible for ourselves but we should also be devoted to the growth and development of entire body. “For the body is one and has many members.” When the world see’s the body of Christ they don’t see us as individuals. We are grouped together as one, known as Christians.

• Verse 13

• We are made members of Christ’s body by the renewing of the Holy Ghost. Each member has its form, place and use. Each of us has different gifts and different places to serve. All of the members of the body are useful and necessary to each other.

• Verse 14

• The Corinthians struggled with petty disagreements. So Paul saw the need for unity in the church. We each are called and gifted to the service of the Lord. There is no room for jealousy or envy. “For in fact the body is not one member but many.”

Grow in the place where you are right now, Grow where you’re planted!
