Can’t Take My Crown

  1. Israel failed to trust God to defend them and chose a

    instead.

  2. Sometimes God allows us to have what we

, whenever we fail to see what we really , which never works out for our good.

  3. People judge by outward apperance, but the Lord looks at the

    .

  4. God said “I remember,” but Saul

about what Amalek had done, and you can tell so by his failure to obey God’s instructions!

  5. Unfortunately, Saul kept the best of what God

    .

  6. Saul only did part of what God told him to do which is considered to be “selective obedience” but is actually “

    ”!

  7. Obviously, Saul determined

what was GOOD and what was BAD and that’s where we miss it as well.

  8. Almost everyone knows the difference between good and bad, but whenever we fail to discern the

of either, we get into trouble.

  9. We cannot grow if we’re ignorant of the “fundamental nature of sin” which is: “every

and ” whose origin is something other than God.

  10. TRUTH IS: It’s CHRIST IN YOU Who makes you

you are and EQUIPS you to what He asks of you!

  11. He is released through you when you have an “attitude of dependence” upon Him, and that is called

    .

  12. Our

is easily offended, always on the defense, indignant and resentful, and always trying to justify itself!

  13. The sheep and oxen exposed Saul’s

which is “symptomatic” of someone who forgets to remember.

  14. Amalek wants us to do the same things he did, which is to dedicate to God what we find valuable in the flesh that God has already

    !

  15. Churches get destroyed when they “dedicate to God” what he condemns which is the activity and energy of the

    !

  16. All too often our church-life consists of nothing more than the bleating of sheep and the lowing of oxen, and our offerings are without salt which are

    just like Saul’s was.

  17. When Saul forgot to remember what Amalek did, he had to learn the hard way, through the school of hard knocks, so always remember: Amalek will

    show you mercy!

  18. Haman, who hated the Jews and devised a plan to annihilate them, was a DESCENDENT of AGAG the King of the Amalekites, whom Saul had

    !

  19. Allowing Amalek to reign will always bring destruction into our lives.

  20. Whenever we are “

,” Amalek will always be lurking in the shadows!

  21. We may spare Amalek, but he will

spare us, and if we allow him to live, he will someday destroy us and take our CROWN and ARMBAND, for we are Kings and Priests in God’s kingdom!

  22. It’s time to resist Amalek with the “

” of God’s authority held high in our hand, as we “appropriate” the VICTORY ALREADY WON!

Revelation3:10-11 NLT
Because you have obeyed my command to persevere, I will protect you from the great time of testing that will come upon the whole world to test those who belong to this world.
11 I am coming soon. Hold on to what you have, so that no one will take away your crown.
