Examine the Text:

  2. As you heard the Scripture, what stood out to you?
  3. Are there any questions that you have about the text?
  4. Are there other portions of Scripture this passage brings to mind?

  1. Is it shocking to hear that Jesus felt alone?
  2. When you feel alone, how often do you pray?
  3. When you feel alone, do you reflect on people, stories, and Scripture? If so, please share what you reflect on.
  4. How does Jesus’ bearing of loneliness provide hope for you?
