How did Jesus address hypocritical people?
• Jesus confronted
“Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites!…” — Matthew 23:23a
• Jesus confronted
“…You give a tenth of your spices, mint, dill and cumin. But you have neglected the more important matters of the law – justice, mercy and forgiveness.” — Matthew 23:23b
How should we handle hypocritical people?
• Confront with
“…restore him gently. But watch yourself, or you also may be tempted.” — Galatians 6:1b
• Confront to
“Brothers, if someone is caught in a sin, you who are spiritual should restore him gently.” — Galatians 6:1a
