Bible Verse: “They will name him Immanuel…God with us.” (Matthew 1:23b)
Talk About It: Read the Bible story together. After reading the story ask your child: How can you celebrate the birth of Jesus this week? Pray together.

Bible Story: (look up and read it together) The Shepherds and the Angels - Luke 2:8-14
What We Learned: Jesus Brings Peace
Bible Verse: “For this is how God loved the world: He gave His one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life.” John 3:16
Talk About It: Ask your kids, where is the “place” that they feel the most peaceful. (Ex. their room, grandma’s, beach, etc.)

What We Learned: Jesus Brings Peace.

Talk About It: Read the Bible story together. When the shepherds saw the angel, how did they react? What did the angel say to them? Where does peace come from? What are some areas in your life that you could use some peace?
