Ecclesiastes 11:4 “If you wait for perfect conditions, you will never get anything done.”
Reset means to begin again and in a new way.
Reset Your Spirit
Genesis 2:7 “The Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.”
Psalm 51:10 “Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a right spirit within me.”
Matthew 16:24 “Jesus said to His disciples, ‘If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow Me.’”
a) Pray Regularly
Luke 5:16 “Jesus often withdrew to the wilderness for prayer.”
Matthew 6:5-6 “And now about prayer. When you pray, don’t be like the hypocrites who love to pray publicly on street corners and in the synagogues where everyone can see them. I assure you, that is all the reward they will ever get. But when you pray, go away by yourself, shut the door behind you, and pray to your Father secretly. Then your Father, who knows all secrets, will reward you.”
Matthew 6:7-8 “When you pray, don’t babble on and on as people of other religions do. They think their prayers are answered only by repeating their words again and again. Don’t be like them, because your Father knows exactly what you need even before you ask Him!”
b) Read The Bible Regularly
Matthew 24:35 “Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will by no means pass away.”
Psalm 119:105 “Your word is a lamp to guide my feet and a light for my path.”
2 Timothy 3:16 “All Scripture is inspired by God and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It corrects us when we are wrong and teaches us to do what is right.”
c) Attend Church Regularly
Luke 4:16 “Jesus came to Nazareth, where He had been brought up, and as His custom was, He went into the synagogue on the Sabbath day.”
Acts 2:46a “Day after day they met together in the temple.”
Hebrews 10:25 “Let us not neglect our church meetings, as some people do, but encourage and warn each other, especially now that the day of His coming back again is drawing near.”
The big idea: It’s time for a reset!
