Fill In

It is possible to

the ways of God without in obedience to Him.

Three Groups of Religious Leaders:
Pharisees
Sadducees
Essenes

Matthew 23:13–15
“But woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you shut the kingdom of heaven in people’s faces. For you neither enter yourselves nor allow those who would enter to go in. Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you travel across sea and land to make a single proselyte, and when he becomes a proselyte, you make him twice as much a child of hell as yourselves.”

Matthew 21:42
“Have you never read in the Scriptures: ‘The stone that the builders rejected has become the cornerstone; this was the Lord’s doing, and it is marvelous in our eyes’?”

Matthew 21:43
”Therefore I tell you, the kingdom of God will be taken away from you and given to a people producing its fruits.

Knowledge of God and His ways means nothing if the character traits of the kingdom are not being

in one’s everyday life.

Galatians 5:1
For freedom Christ has set us free; stand firm therefore, and do not submit again to a yoke of slavery.

Galatians 5:5
For through the Spirit, by faith, we ourselves eagerly wait for the hope of righteousness.

The power of Holy Spirit gives us the type of life in which we live out our

while looking forward to a perfect life with God that is yet to come.

Galatians 5:6
For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision counts for anything, but only faith working through love.

The only thing that counts in following Jesus is faith

itself in love.

Jesus made it simple: love

, love .

Galatians 5:7–8
You were running well. Who hindered you from obeying the truth? This persuasion is not from him who calls you.

Galatians 5:13
For you were called to freedom, brothers. Only do not use your freedom as an opportunity for the flesh, but through love serve one another.

Galatians 5:14
For the whole law is fulfilled in one word: “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.”

Galatians 5:15
But if you bite and devour one another, watch out that you are not consumed by one another.

Are you

through the Spirit of God?

Are you

those around you through love?

Are you

those around you through your own selfishness?
