WARM UP QUESTION
When have you experienced a victory in your life? Describe the circumstances of that victory.

HEAD: These questions help us examine the Word.
1. Read through Romans 8:1-11. Notice everything we’ve been given in or through Christ.

HEART: These questions help us wrestle with what we believe.
2. How do you embrace the gift of “no condemnation” in Verse 1?
3. Romans 8:2 gives us a picture of being “set free” Pastor Steve illustrated this using handcuffs. What does it look like to live free according to verse 2?
4. Do you identify with the concept of putting the handcuffs back on, the idea of being more comfortable in patterns of your sin than living in patterns of freedom?

HAND: These questions help us bring truth and beliefs into our everyday life.
5. Take a look again at Romans 8:5. Get as practical as you can here. What does it mean to have your “mind set on the things of the Spirit”?
6. Take time as a group or possibly in smaller groups of two, to ask God to help you live out the victory Romans 8 points us to
