It’s been said that “The best way to understand the birth of Jesus is to see the manger in the shadow of the cross.” In other words, Christmas is a Big Deal because Jesus came to restore our relationship with the Father. He came to be our atonement.
In telling the wonders of the Christmas Story, God desires to point us to certain realities found in a relationship with Him. There are three we want to note about His remedy for sinful mankind.
