Love.

1 John 4:12; Luke 10:25-37

Imagine what our lives would look like if we truly loved people the way Jesus loved. Although He never compromised truth, He loved everyone! Even those who opposed Jesus attempted to “corner him” in questioning, but His response was always truth. How do we, as Christ followers, fulfill the teaching to love God and love people?

How do we love God? The more we see how He views us…
(Ephesians 1)

We are chosen
“for He chose us in advance…” v11b

We are His family now
“God decided in advance to adopt us into His own family by bringing us to Himself through Jesus Christ.” v5a

We are His inheritance
“he has purchased us to be His own people.” v14b

Action Points:
Understand He commands us to love.
Ask God to give you a mentor who loves well.
Act on opportunities to love people.
Love, do good, bless someone, encourage, serve, honor, compliment, spur one another on to love and good deeds, accept one another, carry someone’s burdens, forgive each other, and offer hospitality.
