Philippians 3:15-21 // Pastor Chris Railey

All of us, then, who are mature should take such a view of things. And if on some point you think differently, that too God will make clear to you. Only let us live up to what we have already attained. —Philippians 3:15-16

How are you growing?

Join together in following my example, brothers and sisters, and just as you have us as a model, keep your eyes on those who live as we do. For, as I have often told you before and now tell you again even with tears, many live as enemies of the cross of Christ. Their destiny is destruction, their god is their stomach, and their glory is in their shame. Their mind is set on earthly things. —Philippians 3:17-19

Who are you following?

But our citizenship is in heaven. And we eagerly await a Savior from there, the Lord Jesus Christ, who, by the power that enables him to bring everything under his control, will transform our lowly bodies so that they will be like his glorious body. —Philippians 3:20-21

What are you waiting for?

Will I let my experiences shape my beliefs or will my beliefs shape my experiences?

Jesus is our SAVIOR.

Jesus is our HEALER.

Jesus is our BAPTIZER.

Jesus is our SOON COMING KING!

For the Lord himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord forever. Therefore encourage one another with these words. —1 Thessalonians 4:16-18

Urgency is the speed and intensity that we do things.

1. Quicker Obedience.

2. Greater Faith.

3. Deeper Love.

. What are you waiting for?
