Introduction:
Life is a journey that takes us in different directions. If we are not careful, we can easily get off track when we lose our focus and direction. As we journey with Jesus Christ, it is important to stay tuned up and in gear so that we can maximize our effectiveness.
Healthy growing Christians have four key behaviors in common. Think of these behaviors as gears that help us accelerate our spiritual growth and stay on track.
“But speaking the truth in love, let us grow in every way into him who is the head — Christ.” —Ephesians 4:15
“… train yourself in godliness” —1 Timothy 4:7b
In this collection, we will discover how to shift our spiritual growth back into gear.
August 31/September 3 First Gear: Belonging to the Body of Christ
September 7/10 Second Gear: Connecting to the Body of Christ
September 14/17 Third Gear: Serving in the Body of Christ
