Acts 2:1-4 ESV
When the day of Pentecost arrived, they were all together in one place. 2 And suddenly there came from heaven a sound like a mighty rushing wind, and it filled the entire house where they were sitting. 3 And divided tongues as of fire appeared to them and rested[a] on each one of them. 4 And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues as the Spirit gave them utterance.

Acts 1:8
8 But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.”

The Primary purpose of the Holy Spirit was so that we would have power.

We can’t live a supernatural life by natural powers, we need the power oof the Holy Spirit

Romans 12:1-2 MSG
12 1-2 So here’s what I want you to do, God helping you: Take your everyday, ordinary life—your sleeping, eating, going-to-work, and walking-around life—and place it before God as an offering. Embracing what God does for you is the best thing you can do for him. Don’t become so well-adjusted to your culture that you fit into it without even thinking. Instead, fix your attention on God. You’ll be changed from the inside out. Readily recognize what he wants from you, and quickly respond to it. Unlike the culture around you, always dragging you down to its level of immaturity, God brings the best out of you, develops well-formed maturity in you.

The Holy Spirit…

Convicts us
Reveals God’s heart.
Gives us gifts of the Spirit.
Wisdom and insight.
Assures us of salvation.
Guides us to all truth.

Any church, family or marriage not actively inviting the HS in their midst will be struggling to find vision, purpose, and direction.

Hebrews 3:12-15
12 Take care, brothers, lest there be in any of you an evil, unbelieving heart, leading you to fall away from the living God. 13 But exhort one another every day, as long as it is called “today,” that none of you may be hardened by the deceitfulness of sin. 14 For we have come to share in Christ, if indeed we hold our original confidence firm to the end. 15 As it is said, “Today, if you hear his voice, do not harden your hearts as in the rebellion.”

How to Let the Holy Spirt Lead You Daily.

1- *Walk with Humility. *

James 4:6- “Opposes proud but gives grace to the humble.”
Psalm 25:9- “Guides the humble.”
Isaiah 57:15- “Dwells with the humble.”

2- Walk with Open Hands.

God doesn’t speak to people who are already set in their agenda.

Proverbs 16:9
The heart of man plans his way, but the LORD establishes his steps.

3- Approach Him Boldly.

Heb 4:15-16
15 For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but one who in every respect has been tempted as we are, yet without sin. 16 Let us then with confidence draw near to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need.
