Jesus’ Last Words - “Make Disciples!” :: Matt. 28:16-20

Jesus appears to the disciples in Galilee

“Then the eleven disciples went to Galilee, to the mountain where Jesus had told them to go. When they saw him, they worshiped him; but some doubted.” —Matt. 28:16-17

Jesus’ Great Commission:

“All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me.”

Jesus possesses

authority! Jesus is Master and Lord!

As a disciple, I know my

as a child of God. Then I am commissioned with Jesus’ authority and power.

“Therefore go and make disciples of all nations”

Jesus’ call all of us to

and and engage in His mission. To obey Jesus’ commission may require some to leave their homeland and go to other parts of the world, but the imperative requires all believers to be involved.

Discipleship to Jesus breaks through

- gender, ethnic, religious, social, economic - calling all people into a personal, lifelong, saving relationship with Jesus.
