MATTHEW 2:13-15 NIV
When they had gone, an angel of the Lord appeared to Joseph in a dream. “Get up,” he said, “take the child and his mother and escape to Egypt. Stay there until I tell you, for Herod is going to search for the child to kill him.” 14 So he got up, took the child and his mother during the night and left for Egypt, 15 where he stayed until the death of Herod. And so was fulfilled what the Lord had said through the prophet: “Out of Egypt I called my son.”

The Word of God protects the will of God.

JOHN 10:10 AMP
The thief comes only in order to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have and enjoy life, and have it in abundance [to the full, till it overflows].

MATTHEW 19:26 AMP

1 PETER 5:6 AMP
Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God [set aside self-righteous pride], so that He may exalt you [to a place of honor in His service] at the appropriate time…

Obedience places you under God’s hand.

ISAIAH 41:10 ESV

JOHN 10:29 ESV

PSALM 110:1 ESV
The Lord says… “Sit at my right hand, until I make your enemies your footstool.”

EXODUS 15:6 ESV
Your right hand, O Lord, glorious in power, your right hand, O Lord, shatters the enemy.

Disobedience leads you from His hand.

JAMES 1:22-25 NIV
Do not merely listen to the word, and so deceive yourselves. Do what it says. 23 Anyone who listens to the word but does not do what it says is like someone who looks at his face in a mirror 24 and, after looking at himself, goes away and immediately forgets what he looks like. 25 But whoever looks intently into the perfect law that gives freedom, and continues in it—not forgetting what they have heard, but doing it—they will be blessed in what they do.
