God didn’t design us to do life alone.

God designed marriage as the first relationship and the most intimate relationship for the human race.


Marriage was God’s idea.

Only when we do marriage God’s way will our marriages reach their full potential for good.

It’s essential that we understand Who created marriage and why He created it.

It takes work for a marriage to work.

Marriage is hard, but when it’s done God’s way… it’s so worth it.


God designed marriage to be a lifelong journey we do with Him.

So they are no longer two, but one flesh. Therefore what God has joined together, let no one separate. —Matthew 19:6 | NIV

Fix your eyes on Jesus.

Your deepest needs are met through your Maker, not your mate.


God designed marriage to be a shared partnership.

God designed marriage to be a relationship where a husband and wife complement one another.

Do for others what you would want them to do for you. —Matthew 7:12 | ERV


God designed marriage to be fun.

For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and they will become one flesh. —Genesis 2:24 | NIV84

Love is a choice we make, not a feeling we fall into.

Complacency is the enemy of any relationship.


God designed marriage to be a picture of grace.

The man said, “The woman you put here with me—she gave me some fruit from the tree, and I ate it.” —Genesis 3:12 | NIV84

Relationships struggle when one person thinks they’re less sinful than the other.

Love… keeps no record of wrongs. —1 Corinthians 13:5 | NIV84

Relationships are hard, but when they’re done God’s way… they’re so worth it.
