The Need

The Lack

The Surprise Abundance
” 18 ‘Bring them here,’ he said.” —Matthew 14:18
Bring Your 5 & 2.
” 25 ‘Doesn’t your teacher pay the Temple tax?’ 26 ‘Yes, he does,’ Peter replied.” —Matthew 17:25-26
” 27 We don’t want to offend them, so go down to the lake and throw in a line. Open the mouth of the first fish you catch, and you will find a large silver coin. Take it and pay the tax for both of us.” —Matthew 17:27
God brings surprise abundance in a “normal” experience.
- Bring your 5 & 2 to Jesus
- Be obedient to God’s leading
- Have great awareness, generosity, and gratitude
5 & 2 abundance mindset is not about how much we have
- It is not a “prosperity gospel”
- It is not a positive vibe, positive thinking, or good mojo
- It is offering to God what we have – little or much – and trusting Him to overflow with the things that matter. Trusting him to meet a need in the most miraculous ways.
