FOOD FOR THOUGHT

Read Exodus 20:3-5
Are there areas in your life where you might be bowing to “false gods” such as success, approval, or comfort?
How can you identify and remove these false gods?

Read Matthew 6:19-21
How does your time, energy, and money reflect what you truly worship?
Create a list of your top priorities and consider whether they align with God’s will for your life.

Read James 4:4-10
Are there areas in your life where your desires conflict with God’s truth?
How can you realign your priorities with God’s word?

Action Items

Personal Inventory: Spend time in prayer asking God to reveal any idols in your life. Write them down and pray for the strength to surrender them.
Scripture Memorization: Choose one verse related to worship (e.g., Romans 12:1 or John 4:24) to memorize and meditate on this week.
Worship Plan: Set aside intentional time each day for worship through prayer, reading Scripture, and listening to music that glorifies God.
Encourage Others: Share with a friend or family member one way God has shown you his worthiness and encourage them to reflect on their own worship.
