Luke 1:26-38
1. Fear Not! Blessed Are Those
and
by God. (Vs. 26-30, Judges 6:12, Luke 1:12, 1 John 4:17-18)
Judges 6:12, “Then the angel of the LORD appeared to him and said, “The LORD is with you, valiant warrior.”
Luke 1:12, “When Zechariah saw him, he was terrified and overcome with fear.”
1 John 4:17-18, “In this, love is made complete with us so that we may have confidence in the day of judgment, because as he is, so also are we in this world. There is no fear in love; instead, perfect love drives out fear, because fear involves punishment.”
2. Fear Not! You Shall Have a Son:
a. He Will
Matthew 1:21, “She will give birth to a son, and you are to name him Jesus, because he will save his people from their sins.”
b. He Will Be
Hebrews 1:1-4, “Long ago God spoke to our ancestors by the prophets at different times and in different ways. In these last days, he has spoken to us by his Son. God has appointed him heir of all things and made the universe, through him. The Son is the radiance of God’s glory and the exact expression of his nature, sustaining all things by his powerful word. After making purification for sins, he sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high. So he became superior to the angels, just as the name he inherited is more excellent than theirs.”
Matthew 16:15-17, ““But you,” he asked them, “who do you say that I am?” Simon Peter answered, “You are the Messiah, the Son of the living God.” Jesus responded, “Blessed are you, Simon son of Jonah, because flesh and blood did not reveal this to you, but my Father in heaven.”
c. He Will Be The
1 Chronicles 17:7, 11-14, ““So now this is what you are to say to my servant David…‘When your time comes to be with your ancestors, I will raise up after you your descendant, who is one of your own sons, and I will establish his kingdom. He is the one who will build a house for me, and I will establish his throne forever. I will be his father, and he will be my son. I will not remove my faithful love from him as I removed it from the one who was before you. I will appoint him over my house and my kingdom forever, and his throne will be established forever.’”
3. Fear Not! Blessed Are Those Who

James 4:7-8, “Therefore, submit to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you.”
Psalm 100:1-2, “Let the whole earth shout triumphantly to the Lord! Serve the Lord with gladness; come before him with joyful songs.”
