Exploring the Word – Romans 10:9-17
1. As you listened to the message, what points stood out?
2. Read Romans 10:9-13. What two qualifiers does the apostle Paul give in verse nine regarding salvation? Why is this distinction important?
3. What does it look like to believe in God yet not trust Him? How do believers demonstrate true reliance upon God?
4. Read Romans 10:14-15. List the steps of the belief process that are outlined in these verses. Discuss biblical examples where the early church sent people out to share the Gospel (refer to Acts 2:14, 37-41; 8:4-8, 26-40; 10:30-48; & 13:1-3). What responsibility does the church have today in sending people to share the Gospel?
5. Read Matthew 28:19-20 and Acts 1:8. Who did Jesus call to share the Gospel? How does this apply to the Christian’s life? How can sharing the Gospel look different for every person?
