POWER
We are boldly reliant on the Holy Spirit. We don’t hope for the Holy Spirit to show up…we expect that God is present! The Holy Spirit guides us into all truth, empowers us to live according to His way, and leads us into abundant life. (Acts 1:8, John 16:13-14)
Three beliefs that can give followers of Jesus confidence that the Holy Spirit will show up in our lives:
1. We can have confidence because the Holy Spirit is
John 14:16-17
2. We can have confidence because the Holy Spirit fills us with the
Acts 1:8
Matthew 28:18-19
3. We can have confidence because the Holy Spirit grounds us in the
John 16:13-14
