And That’s Not All!
Christmas Eve, 2023
Luke 2:1-18

In one extraordinary act, the God of the universe took on bodily form and invaded human
history as a baby boy. His mother and father had both been visited by an angel and come to
believe that the One they placed in the manger was the Son of God. Wisemen from the East,
who studied the stars, discerned an announcement in the sky that said the King of the Jews
was about to be born. In heaven, rumors circulated that the Second Member of the Godhead
was about to be absent for a while.

And That’s Not All!
1. History changed that night.
2. When the baby came, prophecies came with Him.

3. When the baby came, promises were made.
- Mt. 28:20; Jn. 3:16; Jn. 14:26; Acts 2:38; Jn. 14:27;
- Jn. 8:32; Jn. 14:13; Jn. 15:11; Mt. 5:16; Jn. 14:3
4. When He grows up, miracles will happen.
- Jn. 2:7; Mt. 14:25; Mk. 4:39; Mt. 14:20; Mt. 15:36
5. Everywhere He goes, people will be drawn to Him.
- Mk. 10:51; Jn. 9:25; Mt. 11:5; Mk. 7:32; Mt. 4:24; Lk. 7:21
6. Jesus will so change people that they will change the world.

Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has passed away, and see, the
new has come! 2 Corinthians 5:17
