What is your favorite family memory?

Discussion Questions:
1) Did anything stick out to you from the message, or did you have any questions?
2) Do you remember your “gotcha day” into God’s family? What was that like? What was going on in your life that helped you make the decision to follow Jesus?
3) We’ve been using the definition that the gospel is I’m accepted, therefore I get to obey. How does receiving a new identity from Jesus relate to or inform that definition of the gospel?
4) How does the concept of a new identity in Christ shape how we think about how we live as Christians?
5) How does God as father feel to you as an individual? Is it comforting or troubling?
6) Why does God want to be known as a God who brings children home? What does that teach us about him?
