Empowered to Action

For His divine power has bestowed on us [absolutely] everything necessary for [a dynamic spiritual] life and godliness, through true and personal knowledge of Him who called us by His own glory and excellence. 4 For by these He has bestowed on us His precious and magnificent promises [of inexpressible value], so that by them you may escape from the immoral freedom that is in the world because of disreputable desire and become sharers of the divine nature.
-2 Peter 1:3-4 Amplified Bible

Empowered: Give (someone) the

or to do something. Make (someone) stronger and more confident, especially in controlling their life and claiming their rights.

To Live Empowered, We Must:

Move

with what we’ve been taught.

“But as for you, continue in the things you have learned and firmly believed…”
2 Timothy 3:14

Be doers of the word, and not hearers only. Otherwise, you are deceiving
yourselves. 23 For anyone who hears the word but does not carry it out is like a man who looks at his face in a mirror, 24 and after observing himself goes away and immediately forgets what he looks like. James 1:22-24

  1. Utilize the

and that we have been given.
“‘Good work,’ his master said. ‘You are a good and faithful servant. You have been faithful over this small amount, so now I will give you much more.’ Matthew 25:23

  2. Pass on the

    we’ve been entrusted with.
What you have heard me say in front of many people, you must teach to faithful men. Then they will be able to teach others also. 2 Timothy 2:2

*“Incredible change happens in your life when you decide to take control of what you do have power over instead of craving control over what you don’t.”
