Encountering our King

Introduction
As I meditated on our passage this week It struck me that we humans are a fickle people…
Fickle: changing frequently, especially as regards one’s loyalties, interests, or affection.
This is true in so many areas of life
a) Our commitment to a task or project
b) To a church family
c) In our marriages
d) Our finances
But we are also fickle when it comes to our loyalty to God.
The question is however—(1) who can fill those requirements, and (2) If we find such a king would we obey them without hesitation? Or would we be fickle…and soon grow tired of someone other than ourselves governing our lives??
