1. Protection - A Father who guards.
The waters returned and covered the chariots and the horsemen; of all the host of Pharaoh that had followed them into the sea, not one of them remained.

Grumbling invites our problems to linger longer!
2. Provision: A Father who provides.
3 And he humbled you and let you hunger and fed you with manna, which you did not know, nor did your fathers know, that he might make you know that man does not live by bread alone, but man lives by every word[a] that comes from the mouth of the Lord.

3. Promise: A Father who keeps his word.
9 Know therefore that the Lord your God is God, the faithful God who keeps covenant and steadfast love with those who love him and keep his commandments, to a thousand generations,

Our daughters look up to us as a man that they want to marry, and our sons follow us as the man they should be!
