BREAKTHROUGH:

(Daniel 10:1-3 NLT) In the third year of the reign of King Cyrus of Persia, Daniel (also known as Belteshazzar) had another vision. He understood that the vision concerned events certain to happen in the future—times of war and great hardship. When this vision came to me, I, Daniel, had been in mourning for three whole weeks. All that time I had eaten no rich food. No meat or wine crossed my lips, and I used no fragrant lotions until those three weeks had passed.

(Daniel 10:12 NLT) Then he said, “Don’t be afraid, Daniel. Since the first day you began to pray for understanding and to humble yourself before your God, your request has been heard in heaven. I have come in answer to your prayer.

1 ) Daniel

. “You began to pray for understanding.”

(James 5:16 NIV)The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective.

(Daniel 10:7 NLT) Only I, Daniel, saw this vision. The men with me saw nothing, but they were suddenly terrified and ran away to hide.

2 ) Daniel

. “…humble yourself before your God.”

(Daniel 10:12 NLT) Since the first day you began to pray…your request has been heard in heaven. I have come in answer to your prayer.

(Luke 18:1 NLT) Then Jesus told his disciples a parable to show them that they should always pray and not give up.

3 ) Prayer & Fasting moves us

.

(Daniel 10:18-19 NLT) Again one having the appearance of a man touched me and strengthened me. And he said, “O man greatly loved, fear not, peace be with you; be strong and of good courage.” And as he spoke to me, I was strengthened and said, “Let my lord speak, for you have strengthened me.”

Prayer of Breakthrough:
Dear Lord, you know the areas in my life where I need breakthrough. Holy Spirit, give me the discernment to hear your voice regarding the steps I need to take. Heal my heart, every broken part, as I surrender to you. Heal it for good and set me free. Give me a heart that prays bold prayers and believes in bold things. Help me to draw closer to you on this journey and to trust that you will bring my breakthrough in your perfect timing. I will declare that your name is great, your mercies are new every day, and that you have a plan for my life. In Jesus name, I pray. Amen.
