God is a generous giver. John 3:16
God’s grace can liberate us from a ‘scarcity mindset’.
The point is this: whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows bountifully will also reap bountifully. —2 Corinthians 9:6
For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though he was rich, yet for your sake he became poor, so that you by his poverty might become rich. —2 Corinthians 8:9
Generosity is a heart issue.
Each one must give as he has decided in his heart, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. —2 Corinthians 9:7
God’s grace enriches our lives so we can bring blessing into the lives of others.
And God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that having all sufficiency in all things at all times, you may abound in every good work. —2 Corinthians 9:8
Through God’s grace…
He who supplies seed to the sower and bread for food will supply and multiply your seed for sowing and increase the harvest of your righteousness. 11 You will be enriched in every way to be generous in every way, which through us will produce thanksgiving to God. 12 For the ministry of this service is not only supplying the needs of the saints but it is also overflowing in many thanks to God. —2 Corinthians 9:10-12
- Other’s needs are met.
- The giver is enriched in every way.
- God is worshiped.

Let’s Talk About It
God is a giver. Everything we have belongs to God and He has generously given us everything we have. As we learn to trust in this generous God, He enriches every area of our lives, allowing us to experience the fullness of His grace. With God’s grace, the grip that money has had on our hearts begins to loosen and we can be a blessing. Generosity is not a matter of how much you give. It’s a posture of your heart and faith towards God. As we grow in becoming more generous stewards, we glorify God and reflect the generosity of God to a broken world.
